We concluded the quarter with our 12th AGM held in the last week of September where many critical decisions for the Society were taken ahead. Several new initiatives were launched namely a new event – Friendship Day, Foodies paradise – Zaika Junction, Community service – Community Fridge, Shopper’s delight – Amazon Affiliates program.
We tried to increase the happiness quotient through Celebrations of Independence Day, Ganesh Chaturthi and Indoor Dandiya event. We also had a very competitive and fun sports event – AG Indoor Sports League.
1. Ashok Garden’s 12th AGM
The 12th AGM of Ashok Gardens CHS was conducted on 28th September 2025. A very high number of members participated in the AGM which lasted for more than four hours.
Many important resolutions were approved by the General body including Investments in Arbitrage Mutual funds, changes in CAM bill, GST changes, EV shared facility & Facilities charges authorisation to MC.
2. Celebrations – Increasing the Happiness Quotient
Independence Day
Our 79th Independence Day was celebrated in full glory by the Celebrations team. The Flag hoisting was done by our inhouse Chief Guest, a Musical Housie was conducted, and on-the-house breakfast was provided to the residents
Friendship Day
A new event titled Friendship Day was started where the residents came together to greet each other. There was morning breakfast which people enjoyed with their lifelong AG friends.
The main attraction was taking pictures with their group of friends on photo booth kind of experience.
Ganesh Chaturthi Celebrations
Ganesh Chaturthi was celebrated with full religious fervour including traditional Pooja,
Indoor Dandiya
Dandiya had two flavours in AG this year. The first round had Dandiya celebrations happening Indoors in two rounds.
2. Sports: Increasing the Happiness Quotient
AGISL – 2025
The 4th edition of Indoor Sports was a super success. It had 5 Sports – TT, Squash, Snooker, Chess & Carrom. It comprised of 10 Teams & 200 players.
We had seven Food stalls and an overall huge pull of audience watching and cheering their friends and families.
Sports Calendar for the year 2025-26
We published the sports calendar for the year comprising 9 sports starting from October this year and ending in August 2026.
Pickleball is the new addition in the Sports.
3. Zaika Junction
Foodies delight
A fortnightly foodies delight – Zaika junction was launched where Inhouse Chefs and External vendors can put-up their food stalls. We have had three rounds of Zaika in the months of August and September with food ranging from home Chef Sushma Jain to a Dripface Cafe to Atulayam
