1. Dandiya night
The society organized a Dandiya Night event for its residents, offering a fun and engaging entertainment opportunity for all the Dandiya and music fans. A lot of residents came out in their best colorful attires and danced to the hilt.
2. Diwali night
We hosted a Diwali Sangeet event for our residents, Diwali is the festival of lights and a time for joy, family gatherings, and festive activities. We added Sangeet to the occasion makes it even more memorable. The Sangeet, traditionally, is often full of music, dance, and fun, so hosting one for Diwali is a unique and exciting way to celebrate. The building was well lit on the days preceding and succeeding Diwali days completing the festive look.
We also did staff Bakshish distribution for our entire staff at AG just before Diwali.
3. Sports Calendar
The sports calendar of this year was released which laid down the itinerary of sports events to be held from November 2024 to August 2025 comprising many sporting events ranging from Tennis, Football, Marathon & Athletics, Volleyball, Throwball, Badminton, Basketball and Indoor sports like Table Tennis, Squash, Chess, Billiards and Carrom.
4. AGTL 2024 – Tennis
The first sporting event of the year started in November with the launch of Tennis league – AGTL 2024. It was crafted as an innovative team event with a mix of male, females and kids in one team. After four rigorous days of competitive and cheering games, the event culminated on Sunday with the best two teams competing in the finals. Food stalls were also hosted alongside the tennis league.
5. AGFPL 2024-25 – Football
The second sporting event of the year Football which is followed by all age groups especially children was held in the month of December. Close to 100 participants played the three-day entertaining and tough game of Football across three different categories of below 10, 10-16 and above 16 category players. Food stalls were also held along with the event
6. Christmas Fair
During the Christmas carnival, our residents showcased their talent through carol singing, live singing and instrumental performances. Food stalls offered delicious food, there were exciting games, and unique products were on offer at resident-run stalls. For kids there were lot of things to offer including thrilling rides, had cartoon characters, and they had fun with our very own Santa Claus.
7. Senior citizens monthly Celebrations
The Senior citizens groups month end get-together now happens on last Sunday of the month at Banquet Hall from September 2024. The Senior citizens get together and celebrate their birthdays and anniversaries with some performances, Christmas carols, songs, games and music played during the event. The elder citizen contributes to bring their home-made delicious food and cakes which the group enjoys together. It’s a delight to watch the group enjoy the golden period of the year.
