The MC team is involved in running the Society’s day-to-day affairs and planning new initiatives & projects as and when required.
Some of the key initiatives taken by the Management Committee the last quarter (April-June 24) were:
1.Refurbishing the Children’s Play Area
The children’s play area flooring was completely replaced with a brand new vibrant red colour EPDM flooring. The swings and surrounding area were also freshly painted to give it a completely new look.
2. Installation of new Bio Wall
A Bio-wall was installed at the AG main gate to enhance the aesthetics of the entrance and create a lively welcome to all.
The project workings involved Assessment and Planning, Design Selection, Structural Preparation, Installation of Irrigation System, Planting and Growing Medium, Maintenance Plan, Lighting and Accessories.
3.Restart of Water fountains near the Central lawns
Restarting the side lawn water fountains and adding colourful fishes was a delightful addition, enhancing the aesthetic and environmental value.
4.Enhancement of Lift lobbies
Replacing the lights and repair work of the POP has been done in the lift lobby. The painting of all individual floors across 6 wings is being completed soon. We will soon have new bright lights and freshly painted lift lobbies. This will lead to enhancement of the aesthetic appeal of the common areas of every floor.
5. Canopies installation at staircases
We completed the project of canopy installation at the stairwell leading to P1 of Tower 1 & 2. This has provided a permanent solution to prevent rainwater from going down to P1 and added the much-needed aesthetic appeal.
6. Awnings at the Main gate
Upgradation of security cabins at the main gate, including installation of new awnings was completed. This will provide convenience to visitors and our own staff during the monsoon time. The awnings provided shelter for the staff and visitors while completing the security check process of entering the building.
7. External Wall cleaning project
We initiated the cleaning of external façade of our building which had corroded over a period of time. The task is achieved by cleaning each external area across Tower 2 by water sprays removing the black and mud marks. Currently Tower 2 work has been completed and Tower 1 work will be taken after monsoon break.
8. Voter ID camps
Election Officials visited AG few times to enable AG residents and ensure they are ready for upcoming elections
9. Meet & Greet Political Events:
Two top political parties reached out to us for communicating their views and build a rapport with the AG community. The goal was to foster meaningful dialogue and empower voters to make informed decisions about the future of their community.
10. Start of Reception lobbies enhancement work
We have started the reception lobbies work starting with A/B & E/F wing lobbies, to make it both aesthetically pleasing and also functional and welcoming.

- Continuation of Reception lobbies enhancement work: The Lift lobby project will move to the next phase in this quarter
- AGM: The annual general body meeting of Ashok Gardens CHS Limited will be held this quarter.
